"I feel that my opinion matters"
Name: Anders
Nationality: Danish
Education: M.Sc. Pharm
Job title: Associate Director
Department: Urology, Endocrinology and Gastroenterology
I am the head of the international clinical trials coordinators in the department. My responsibility is to ensure a proper conduct of the studies where my employees are involved and to ensure a harmonised way of doing things in the department.
My tasks, amongst many, are to coach my employees and to make them grow in their positions.
Ferring is a young and non-rigid organisation, where the routes of command are often shorter than many other companies within the industry. The social life in Ferring is fine, but we miss a wine club.
As a frequent traveller, I am used to a very international environment, like Ferring, and I am not sure I would thrive in a company with only a few nationalities.
Three words to describe Ferring would be international (it is part of your daily life to work with many different nationalities), young (modern building, fairly young colleagues) and non-rigid (short commando routes, movable).
I like to work at Ferring because my daily working tasks are very exciting. I have had the fortune to be promoted a couple of times and each new job has been a natural change.
What makes me satisfied is the fact that I feel that my opinion matters.
Ferring offers a very competitive salary and overall the benefits are comparable to the best on the market. I would like better coffee though.
I like my current job because I have the chance to change things to what I believe is a better way. I like the feeling of making a difference and at the same time, I like the situation where my ideas are challenged by someone with better ideas.
I think I make a difference at Ferring because I have a high degree of integrity and I am a true believer in quality paired with an excellent working environment.
The best thing about working at Ferring is the short commando route paired with the modern and international environment.
