About Ferring:

How would you describe Ferring as a workplace?
Nice and open atmosphere.

How would you describe the culture?
Nice with different nationalities.

How is the social life at Ferring?
Lot's of different things offered after working hours (art club, gourmet etc).

How do you like working across cultures? (Ferring has 25 different nationalities)
I enjoy it.

How does Ferring make a difference for our society and the rest of the world?
The Ferring portfolio of drugs is special and something to be proud of.

How would you like to describe Ferring with three words?
Strong, Stubborn, and Growing

Why exactly these three words?
It is a strong company because we have been on the market for quite a long time. People working in the company can be "stubborn" meaning that they make things possible even though it seems from the beginning to be a difficult task. The company is growing from a small Pharmaceutical company to medium sized company.

Personal questions:

What makes you smile when you think about Ferring?
That I like every day I go to work.

What makes a difference for you in your worklife?
Work must be fun and challenging.

How does the Ferring Philosophy effect your daily working life?
This is a tricky question to answer, I like to think that the way I am is because who I am and not due to Ferring. On the other hand I can also say that Ferring gives the freedom to be that person also at work.

What do you think about Ferring's benefits?
When I think about Ferring's benefits I think about excellent lunch and always fruit available in the morning and after lunch. This is highly appreciated. I also enjoy the reduced fitness fees.

Briefly describe a moment when you felt success in your work?
I can feel this every day when a small task is finalised but of course it was a great pleasure when the degarelix file was finalised, so both small events and big ones. I like to see when people in my group is growing in their profession.

Work tasks:

What is the best thing about your job?
Always new challenges and a great support from colleagues and management.

Describe how you make a difference for Ferring through your job?
I am very opened minded and like to take on new challenges. I enjoy inviting speakers and arranging courses from which I benefit together with my colleagues.  I care how things are handled in Ferring which is also outside my responsibility. This, is both good for me and sometimes it is bad. It is easier to put boundaries around my tasks and then not bother about the things outside, but that is not me.

Finally:

What is the best thing about working at Ferring?
That I can grow as a professional chemist (specialist) and as a leader with support from colleagues and management.
