Ferring considers expenditure on appropriate education, training and development a necessary and calculated investment, contributing to considerable pay back in terms of enhanced performance and employee satisfaction. This policy ensures that everyone has the up-to-date capabilities to be successful in their current and future role.
We offer internal courses to ensure that our employees' training is relevant and customised. Our courses include IT, language , intercultural understanding and other courses tailored to the needs of the individual employee, for example project management, negotiation skills, presentation skills and management courses. Ferring funds the courses and runs them within normal working hours, because we consider course participation a core requirement by employees to strengthen their competencies.
The Human Resources department at International PharmaScience Center is responsible for training and developing all employees. We cooperate closely with managers in Ferring, but also believe that the employees have a significant co-responsibility for their own learning and development. That is why the development plan of each individual employee is determined in collaboration between Human Resources, the manager and the employee at the annual "Ferring Dialogue", which is our performance appraisal tool.
